NUMBERS funnel — smoke test
Run this BEFORE the carousel goes live. Use a secondary Instagram account (not @gotauts) to simulate a real lead.
Prereqs check
- [ ] Carousel imported into Canva (variant #4 — receipts + editable text)
- [ ] Tally form published, URL copied
- [ ] Notion tracker page published as public template, URL copied
- [ ] Loom walkthrough URL ready (or skipped — Node 3 message accommodates)
- [ ] ManyChat trigger active, flow published
- [ ] Tally webhook → ManyChat connected
Test sequence
1. Stage a test post
- [ ] Export carousel from Canva (variant #4) as PNG sequence (8 PNGs, 1080×1080)
- [ ] In Meta Business Suite, schedule the carousel to a test slot 30 minutes from now (so we can post it real but to a quiet time)
- [ ] OR: post a quick test image to @gotauts with caption "test — please ignore" and use that for the smoke test, then archive after
2. Trigger the funnel
- [ ] From a secondary IG account (NOT @gotauts), comment
NUMBERS(all caps, no other text) on the test post - [ ] Expected: within 30–90 seconds, the test account receives a DM from @gotauts with greeting + Tally form link
- [ ] If fails: check ManyChat → Inbox → look for the comment event. If no event, trigger isn't firing — verify post is being monitored
3. Walk the Tally form
- [ ] Click the link in the DM
- [ ] Expected: Tally form loads on mobile (test on phone, not desktop)
- [ ] All 3 questions render with options as written
- [ ] Submit with: Q1 = Operator, Q2 = ROAS, Q3 = your-test-email@example.com
- [ ] Expected after submit: redirected to
t.me/gustavsgotautsTelegram channel
4. Receive the tracker
- [ ] Within 60–120 seconds of submit, second DM lands from @gotauts
- [ ] Expected content:
- "Got it. Your bottleneck looks like ROAS"
- Tracker URL — clickable, opens Notion page
- "The row that matters most for you: ROAS column, day over day"
- Loom URL (if recorded; otherwise this line absent)
- Telegram link
- [ ] Click tracker URL → Notion page loads, shows the seed table + "Duplicate as template" works
- [ ] Click Telegram link → opens Telegram channel join page
5. Verify lead capture
- [ ] In ManyChat → Audience → find the test contact
- [ ] Expected custom fields populated:
q1_journey= "Operator..."q2_bottleneck= "ROAS — my ads are not paying back."q3_email= your-test-email@example.comrow_for_bottleneck= "ROAS column, day over day"
6. Cleanup
- [ ] Delete the test contact from ManyChat (or tag as
test) - [ ] Delete the test post from @gotauts (if you posted one)
- [ ] Remove the test email from any downstream system
Pass criteria
All 5 phases above complete cleanly with no manual intervention.
If any phase fails: 1. Pause — do NOT publish the real carousel yet. 2. Identify the exact node that broke (DM didn't arrive? form didn't redirect? webhook didn't fire?). 3. Fix in the relevant tool (ManyChat / Tally / Notion). 4. Re-run from Step 2 above.
Repeat until all green.
After pass: go-live
- [ ] Schedule the real H1 carousel via Meta Business Suite for tonight at a high-engagement slot (8–10 PM local for US audience; check his historical post timing for what works for @gotauts)
- [ ] Post a single test "NUMBERS" comment from secondary account 5 minutes after publish to confirm production funnel works the same as test funnel
- [ ] Watch ManyChat inbox + leads.md for first real lead
- [ ] First-night target: ≥1 captured lead = funnel is alive
Emergency abort
If anything goes catastrophically wrong post-publish:
1. ManyChat → Triggers → toggle NUMBERS funnel OFF (stops auto-DMs immediately)
2. Reply manually to any waiting "NUMBERS" comments with a "tracker coming, system glitch — DM me directly" note
3. Diagnose, fix, re-test, re-enable trigger
