$25k was ad spend.

On one million days, it should have been more than $200k.

This is why we are not there yet: we can't scale without hitting the right ROAS!

My mistake in the past was trying to stop the flow — holding onto money too tightly.

Responsibility and commitment are directly connected to how much you pay people.

When we start a business, we expect people to give everything for a few hundred or a few thousand euros.

But as founders, we forget something important.

We go all-in on our business - often for years - without getting paid at all.

The difference is: it’s our idea.

People working with you will almost never be as emotionally invested as you are. And that’s normal.

But you can increase their commitment.

One of the most powerful ways is simple: pay them better than anyone else.

When you help solve your team’s money problems, they can focus on the mission instead of survival. That’s when real ownership and responsibility start to appear.

The hardest transition for a founder is moving from paying little to paying life-changing money to the people around you.

So in the beginning, accept that others won’t have the same drive you do.

First help them win financially. Then expect the same level of responsibility and commitment.

Trying to demand “all-in energy” from people while paying them almost nothing rarely works.

But when people feel valued and rewarded - that’s when teams become unstoppable.
